Meet Cheri

Cheri has been immersed in the arts since the age of 10, finding her passion in dancing, singing, and acting. After earning her degree in theatre from Northwestern University, she moved to New York City, where she performed professionally on and off Broadway, honing her craft and sharing her talent on some of the world’s most iconic stages.

Since settling in Savannah, Cheri has left a lasting impact on the local arts community. She spent two years teaching drama at Oglethorpe Charter School, 29 years teaching dance at Gretchen Green School of Dance, and 12 incredible years at the Savannah Children’s Theater as a drama teacher and field trip coordinator.

Today, Cheri combines her love of performance with her commitment to wellness. As a performance and wellness coach, she integrates natural healing practices with the arts, helping others shine both on stage and in life.

Cheri is married to Reverend Billy Hester, Minister at Asbury Memorial Church, and together they have four wonderful children and one amazing grandson who bring endless joy to their lives.
